Aastha Prahladka

I come from a counselling psychology background, with experience in clinical and community-based mental health settings.

My work has helped me build trust, safety and emotional comfort with the individuals. My approach to therapy is collaborative and exploratory as per the individuals' pace. I believe therapy works best when through genuine communication, we explore ourselves, our pain points as well as our strengths.

I draw from narrative and client oriented approaches to help clients make sense of their emotions and thoughts. What makes me passionate about helping others is the belief that we never have to walk alone through our struggles. It is empowering when individuals begin to feel less alone in their struggles, start trusting themselves a bit more and move towards wholesome living. 

When I am not in sessions, I like reading fiction and watching shows.
