In Archana's words
I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and have experience in counselling adults (18+) by helping them in peeling back the layers of their emotional, behavioural and psychological challenges to reveal a malleable core from which they can meaningfully grow. Counselling sessions with me are collaborative endeavours.
I am well-versed in and use methods from Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (the rational angle) and Logotherapy (the meaning-oriented angle). I bring in gentle confrontation in sessions to challenge unhelpful and deep-seated patterns and support you in addressing and working through the following concerns among more: anxiety, issues related to self-worth, depression, difficult life transitions, perfectionism, relationship concerns, procrastination, behavioural addictions, stress, burnout, and so on.
Looking inward is encouraged in our therapeutic space especially when problems appear to be consuming you from the outside.
When not working, I enjoy reading poetry and philosophy, cycling, and yoga.
“We need to balance the rational and the meaningful to truly accept ourselves and the world.”
