In Rehat's words
I work from a trauma-informed and relational lens, grounded in the belief that meaningful change develops through a relationship grounded in safety and authenticity.
My practice is process-oriented, attending closely to what unfolds moment to moment in the therapeutic relationship as a way of accessing deeper emotional and relational patterns. I take an eclectic approach, integrating elements of person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and narrative therapy to tailor the work to each client’s context and goals. A multicultural perspective informs my practice, allowing me to honor the influence of culture, identity, and systemic factors on my clients’ experiences.
Therapy, to me, is like putting together a puzzle of yourself. Each session helps you find and fit the pieces that make up your story. It's in these moments that we find clarity and understanding. We uncover the patterns that shape our thoughts and behaviors, and we begin to see ourselves in a new light.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy playing board games, trying new desserts, and spending time coloring.
