In Sindhiya's words

I began my professional journey in the IT industry, working with leading organizations such as TCS and Oracle for over seven years. My passion for understanding human behaviour and emotional well-being eventually led me to transition into the field of mental health. In 2008, I earned my Master’s degree in Psychology and have since pursued specialized training and certifications in counseling, professional supervision, and community mental health.

As a Mental Health Professional, I offer counseling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families. I also provide professional supervision for counselors and students - both individually and in groups and collaborate with organizations as part of Employee Wellness Services (EWS). In addition, I am a POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Trainer, and a passionate mental health advocate, facilitator, and trainer, committed to promoting psychological well-being in personal, educational, and workplace settings.

My work spans across diverse age groups- from adolescents to adults and geriatric clientele. I offer counseling, psychotherapy, and workshops focused on mental health & counselling. I follow an eclectic approach integrating various therapeutic frameworks like CBT, EFT, DMT, MI, DBT, TA & Psychodynamic.

My areas of expertise include stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and crisis intervention for suicide and self-harm. I provide trauma-informed and queer-affirmative care across a wide spectrum of needs, including trauma, relationships, addiction, parenting, self-esteem, identity, and existential concerns. I also specialize in prenatal, post-partum, and geriatric counseling, with a deep commitment to cultural sensitivity and intersectionality.

Outside of therapy, I love spending time in nature, reading books, dancing, singing, listening to music, gardening, and watching investigative and medical series/movies.

“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom - Viktor E. Frankl”
